You’re not here because of some miscommunication. MAiMiTReviews is diving into another medium. It’s as simple as that. And about the ‘Miscommunication’, that’s the word Bade Achhe Lagte hain cajole its viewers by; started on 30th May, the SONY TV serial produced by Ekta and Sobha kapoor’s Balaji Telefilms brought together, perhaps, the best of TV world – Saakshi Tanwar and Ram Kapoor who plays Priya and Ram respectively. The serial based on these two strangers who get married and falls in love.

However, until the last episode aired last Thursday, both protagonists don’t come to realized that they’re to be married, plainly. In simpler terms, it took twenty episodes to finally introduce it and build the climax for it, which would eventually start the story.

With the still reigning Saas-serial, Bade Acchhe Lagte Hai could soon be one of the Top shows bringing higher TRP ratings for SONY TV. While Ekta Kapoor has brought her ace director Ravindra Gautam to direct the show mid-way to deliver better presentation and appeal, the fact that Saakshi Tanwar and Ram Kapoor together is enough to draw crowds to it.

After Kahani Ghar Ghar Ki, Saakshi Tanwar star in it after a long hiatus. Saakshi’s Priya is a dreamer, who in her early thirties is unmarried, believes in love and the rosy things attach to it. She work as tutor in private institute and held her family before her. Ram Kapoor who earlier appear in Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi play a ruthless entrepreneur in his early forties who thinks he has missed the bus of marriage and that keeping and seeing his family happy comforts in his loneliness.

The serial pick up the story between very two distinct families: the reality of life in Mumbai, as in difference between a middle class family and a high society family, where the former dream the luxury of the later and the later to suspect the former of wanting. Penetrating this wall, both the world of Priya and Ram are so apart that it take a long haul for them to meet, come together in screen. Over running episodes were heavily drawn on building climax of the two protagonists to come together: the car accident where Priya’s mother Shippra and Ram have a misunderstanding; Priya and Ram’s respective brother and sister, Karthik and Natasha’s love relationship. And what brought them together was miscommunication between them.

The four episodes of this week brought up another miscommunication for their engagement agreement ritual. When it’s clear that these were not meant for both Priya and Ram to grow likeness between them, it drew a parallel difference in their characters between them. To me, the scene where Priya family furiously argue over the proposal from Ram for Priya’s younger sister Ayesha was some apex of the show which care for its twist in details; While in the meantime Ram was convinced by his family members to marry Priya, it’s at the Kapoor’ residence that the miscommunication and the confusion settle by Priya rejecting the proposal for the marriage.

The show runs from Monday to Thursday at 10:30 PM. The new promo invites to attend the engagement ceremony of Priya and Ram for the 6th July episode. Whatever bombshell it’ll have to throw, Bade Achhe Lagte Hain have big-time land in its subject – two strangers falling in love after marriage. Will it eventually be another Saas-drama? Ram’s mother has been striking twist to the serial, so there’s a possibility. Will Saakshi Tanwar’s Priya took the whole week episodes to leave her husband home like Kahani Ghar Ghar Ki? There’s greater possibility to it. However, let us hope it does justice to its subject.
